Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), a production unit of Indian Railways under the Ministry of Railways, has released an official notification for engagement of 192 Act Apprentices for the year 2025-26. The recruitment includes multiple trades such as Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, CNC Operator and others. This is a direct merit-based recruitment where selection will be done purely on the basis of 10th standard marks without any written examination. The apprenticeship training will be conducted at RWF, Yelahanka, Bengaluru. Eligible 10th pass candidates with ITI (NCVT) certification must submit their offline applications before 01 April 2026 (before 17:00 hrs).
Fill the application form carefully as per Matriculation certificate details.
Affix recent passport-size photograph in the prescribed space.
Attach self-attested copies of required documents including 10th marksheet, ITI (NCVT) certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), employment exchange card and ID proof.
Attach Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft of ₹100/- in favour of “Principal Financial Adviser / Rail Wheel Factory” (if applicable).
Fill and sign the checklist (Annexure-F) and enclose it with the application.
Superscribe the envelope with “Application for undergoing training under the Apprentices’ Act, 1961 for the year 2025-26 in Rail Wheel Factory”.
Submit the application either by Registered Post to The Senior Personnel Officer-II, Personnel Department, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore – 560 064 or drop it in the designated drop box at the RWF office.
Ensure the application reaches before 17:00 hrs on 01 April 2026.
